Privacy Policy

Metabolt operates through two companies:

• METABOLT FZCO, a free zone company registered in the Dubai Multi Commodities Centre, License no. DMCC-1041180, Unit 30-01-5305, DMCC Business Centre, Level 1, Jewellery & Gemplex 3, Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
• METABOLT, Inc., a Delaware corporation, Company no. 10796889, 2810 N Church St, STE 90763, Wilmington, DE 19802, United States.

Where you are located in the United States, METABOLT, Inc. is the company responsible for your information and your use of the services. Everywhere else, METABOLT FZCO is responsible. In these documents, “Metabolt”, “we” and “us” mean the company responsible for you.

This policy covers metabolt.com, the Metabolt member app and wearable experience, Advanced Health Services, and any form or channel through which you contact us (together, the “services”). Clinics and practitioners who use Metabolt may have their own privacy notices for the care they provide to you.

Information you give us. When you request access or contact us: your name, email address, organisation, the type of enquiry (member, practitioner, partner, investor, press) and the content of your message. When you create a member account: your account details and the profile information you choose to add.

Health and metabolic information. If you use the member services and connect a sensor, wearable, lab or clinician, we process the readings and signals you authorise, such as continuous glucose readings, logged meals and doses, activity, sleep and recovery signals, and lab results. This is sensitive personal data. We process it only with your explicit consent and only to provide the services you asked for.

Information collected automatically. When you visit the website, our hosting provider processes technical data needed to deliver the pages securely, such as IP address, browser type, device type and the pages requested. With your consent, we use Google Analytics to measure, in aggregate, how the website is used; Google processes this data as our service provider. The website does not use advertising or cross-site tracking. See the Cookie Policy.

Please do not send medical details through the contact form or by email. Those channels are not designed for clinical information.

• To provide the services: infer your current metabolic state, project its likely trajectory with a stated confidence, and present recommendations. Metabolt provides decision support. It does not diagnose, treat or prescribe.
• To share with the people you choose: when you connect a clinician or practitioner, they see the information you have authorised, in a member-consented view.
• To respond to you: answer enquiries, manage access requests and onboarding.
• To keep the services safe and reliable: security monitoring, fraud prevention, troubleshooting and service quality.
• To improve the services: using aggregated or de-identified data, and only where permitted by law and your choices.
• To meet legal obligations: record keeping, regulatory requirements, and responding to lawful requests.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your health information for advertising.

Depending on where you live, we rely on: your consent (required for health and metabolic data, and withdrawable at any time); the performance of a contract with you; our legitimate interests in operating, securing and improving the services, balanced against your rights; and compliance with legal obligations.

• Service providers who host, secure and support the services under contract, and only on our instructions (for example cloud hosting, email delivery and customer support tools).
• Clinicians, clinics and labs you choose to connect, and only the information you authorise.
• Between Metabolt companies (METABOLT FZCO and METABOLT, Inc.) where needed to provide the services, under this policy.
• Authorities where required by law, or to protect the rights, safety and property of our members or others.
• A successor in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, subject to this policy and notice to you.

Metabolt operates from the United Arab Emirates and the United States, and our providers may process data in other countries. When information moves across borders we use appropriate safeguards, such as contractual protections recognised by the applicable law, and we limit transfers to what the services need.

We keep account and health information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the services, then delete or de-identify it, unless the law requires us to keep it longer. Enquiries from the contact form are kept for up to 24 months unless they become an ongoing relationship.

We protect information with technical and organisational measures appropriate to its sensitivity, including encryption in transit, access controls on a need-to-know basis, and monitoring. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your information, we will notify you and the relevant authorities as the law requires.

Depending on where you live, including under the UAE Personal Data Protection Law, the EU and UK GDPR, and US state privacy laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act, you may have the right to:

• access the personal information we hold about you and receive a copy;
• correct inaccurate information;
• delete your information;
• restrict or object to certain processing;
• receive your data in a portable format;
• withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing that happened before;
• not be discriminated against for exercising these rights;
• complain to your local data protection authority.

To exercise a right, email privacy@metabolt.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

The services are not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

We will update this policy as the services evolve. When changes are material, we will tell you in advance through the services or by email. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
